From September 2012 to December 2013 and so on.

Let me point you in the right direction.

I posted this drawing February 13, 2013. That's almost two years ago and in the span of time, so much has changed. (Both good a bad.) As of right now this is the only post on this ol' blog of mine. But, there were about 14 others which I've since posting them, deleted. From September of 2012 up until December 2013 I was an art student studying photography. I went to a small- very, very, VERY, small, all women's art college, in Philadelphia. College is something that it a huge decision and it is something I wish I would have took into more consideration whilst first applying.

The things I've come to realize though, during my last semester in school during 2013, was that I wasn't stuck like I thought I was. Nothing is concrete, and set in stone. If along the way of discovering and making a decision in what you want to do, it may not go the way you envision it will. (And that's okay.)

I'm not where I want to be exactly but I'm headed there...

  1. The line quality on the second animation looks more consistent than the first. That being said, i believe the slower animation looks better for what you're trying to convey. This carefully about which aspects of the hand's movement clearly articulate your concept. Make those moments have a longer duration and ten i think you'll be good to go. otherwise very nice work

  2. i really enjoy the way your drawings have a sketchy quality to them, i think it really helps define the movement. also the position you've chosen is super interesting and adds a sort of narrative to it. one thing i would say is that the slower gif is more successful because we can really get a feel for each movement in its entirety for each frame.
